Terms and conditions

These terms apply to your use of this website, and to discovery calls and on-site consultations booked through it, with Sarah McLauchlan Gardens Pty Ltd (ABN 70 677 892 812). Design services are provided under separate terms of engagement, which you receive with your proposal.

Enquiries and discovery calls

Making an enquiry or booking a discovery call is free and places you under no obligation. It does not create an agreement for design services, and I may not be able to take on every project.

On-site consultations

  • The on-site consultation is $495 incl. GST, for 1 to 1.5 hours at your property.
  • A travel fee may apply for sites more than 50 minutes from Nambucca Heads. Any travel fee is confirmed with you before you book.
  • Your booking is confirmed once payment is received.
  • The consultation is advice given in person on the day. It does not include a site survey, drawings, plans, plant lists, pricing or a written report.
  • Please make sure I can safely access the areas we will look at, and let me know about gates, pets and parking beforehand.

If you need to reschedule or cancel

  • With at least 48 hours' notice, you can move your consultation to another available time, or cancel for a full refund.
  • With less than 48 hours' notice, or if I am unable to access the site at the booked time, the consultation fee is not refundable. Where I can, I may offer another time.

If I need to reschedule

Occasionally I may need to move a consultation, for example because of severe weather or illness. If that happens, I will contact you as soon as possible and you can choose a new time or a full refund.

The content on this website is general information about my services and is not advice for your particular site. Images, drawings and 3D visualisations are the work of Sarah McLauchlan Gardens or are used with permission, and may not be copied or reused without permission. 3D visualisations show the design intent and may differ from the finished garden.

Your rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
